And if you've watched the play/film Amadeus, the name Salieri might sound familiar to you... 8'D in very much the same way Elise's surname would be familiar if you play the violin.... HAHA.

Hobbies: Playing the harpsichord (either by himself, with a chamber group, or with Elise (*wink*), reading, making up new blends for wine, and practicing his swordsmanship

Background:
Claudio is the only son of the owner (<---guys, think haciendero or Don Segundo from MIM ) of a vast vineyard in Northern Italy. Raised by musically-inclined parents (and an extended family perhaps), he grew up to be a fairly talented keyboardist. When he was about 10 or 11, he went off and studied under the Italian School of Swordsmanship for six years, only to return home to find out that he and his childhood friend Elise Stradivari have been set up for an arranged marriage (to his delight, to Elise's "dislike"). When his fiancee had left home, Elise's father had asked him to follow and make sure that his daughter is safe.
